Science & Children is The Elementary Journal of the National Science Teachers Association.   It has rigorous writing guidelines and is peer-reviewed.  I have participated in reviewing articles by teachers for this magazine for many years.

Plays Magazine has been publishing classic plays for children since 1940.  I felt honored to publish in this magazine.

My daughters gifted me a subscription to an on-line writing service, called Storyworth, which publishes a book based on essays the writer submits over a year's time.

Cricket Media published Odyssey, which contained science-related content for 9-14 year olds.  It has now become Muse.

I wrote the copy for a summer workbook program for children in grades 2-5.  Most paragraphs were science-based.

A girl in my first grade class was a figure skater with Olympic dreams.  This article outlined her dedication, practicing at the skating rink at 4:30 AM daily at such a young age.

As a teacher advisor, I published several articles about "teaching in the trenches" and wrote a play for this magazine.

Dr. Rick Lee and I published articles about his research in Antarctica.  This one was quite scholarly.

FACES Magazine is a Cricket Media publication about world cultures for kids ages 9-14.  I wrote about 250 plays, non-fiction articles, and a monthly "Critter Corner" column for this publication for nearly 20 years.

"For Such a Time as This," is a musical about the life of Esther.  This labor of love took 1 year to write and features 9 original songs.

  Its performance brought community actors, musicians, and costume designers  of all ages together for an unforgettable, mountain-top experience.
