The Handbell Lady

From prehistoric people shaking boxes of rocks by the campfire 10,000 years ago, to the bell outside of the space station today, bells have been an important part of our culture.  I'm documenting their fascinating history.  Keep your eyes PEALED for a book on the topic.  (Pun intended.)

Since high school, I've played in handbell choirs.  That equates to many church choirs and 1 community handbell group, handbell conventions, writing and arranging music, creating scripts and characters, and lots of joyous camaraderie.

I'm getting the word out about handbells.  I've written a presentation called, "A History of Handbells:  For Whom the Bell Tolls," which I'm sharing with local groups.  It's striking a chord!
