What I Teach About

Meet Dr. Carolyn Nemec.  I am the outreach manager for her women's health podcast,  "Dr. Carolyn in Cleveland."  She is a joy to work with, and I am meeting smart, inspirational women, learning new facts daily, and surrounding myself with "who I want to be."

As a veteran science teacher who has: worked at Science Centers, taught middle school science, written a monthly column about animals in a national magazine, and studied/traveled with research teams, I love to write about all things science.

Traveling to Antarctica with a research team, working in the field, interviewing scientists, experiencing the nature, and seeing the consequences of a warming climate first-hand make me passionate about Antarctica.  There are so many stories to tell!
